Confidence is defined as a quality or state of being certain. We as Muslims need to be certain and sure of our faith and what we are doing. How can we build self confidence?
Everything that happens comes about through Allah’s command of “Be.” At every second, every thing and scene that appears before us is created through Allah’s will. Nothing is left to its own devices, for everything is created for the destiny that Allah has determined for it.
Islam teaches that God is All-Powerful, but it does not mean that He does things that contradict logic or does not befit His character. For instance, He does not make a round a square while keeping it round and square at the same time. And it is also an Islamic teaching about God that He is Perfect and so He does not suffer or die; because that is against His nature.
Allah commanded His servants to use patience and prayer to acquire the good of this life and the Hereafter. Muqatil ibn Hayan said that this ayah means, “Utilize patience and the obligatory prayer in seeking the Hereafter. As for patience (here), they say that it means fasting.”
Shaban is the 8th month in the Islamic calendar and is considered one of the meritorious months for which we find particular instructions in the Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad.
